Ingredients
- 90g/1 cup gram/chickpea flour
- 250ml/1 cup water
- 1 spring onion, finely sliced
- 1 chilli, sliced
- 1 courgette, grated
- Handful of spinach
- ½ tsp chilli flakes
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Combine the gram flour with the spices and seasoning.
- Whisk in 250ml of water then add all of the remaining ingredients to the mixture.
- Pour the batter into a med-large frying pan (pre-heated with a little oil) then fry over medium heat until golden on both sides.
- Serve with an array of chutneys and salad.
