Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana (use fresh or frozen depending on how cold you like your smoothies… if using frozen you might have to add a little plant milk to help with blending)
  • 1 orange, peeled with pith and pips removed
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 cm fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
  • Pinch cinnamon

Optional protein extras: soya milk, nut butter, protein powder, hemp seeds, flaxseed, oats, buckwheat flakes, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, chia seeds, cooked quinoa, protein yoghurt (eg Alpro Greek Style), white beans (eg cannellini), silken tofu

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients together until smooth.
