Vegan Food at Glastonbury Festival 2022
With Glastonbury Festival opening it’s gates for the 36th time, festival-goers are in for some great plant-based treats this year!
The festival announced that in 2022, there will be more vegan food stalls than ever before – with amazing plant-based options such as vegan halloumi, tofu fish steaks, jackfruit burritos, vegan pie & mash, vegan paella, and much more!
According to TheFestivals.uk, there will be a range of vegan-friendly offerings, including four fully vegan food stalls:
- Club Mexicana offers Mexican street food at it’s best: vegan tacos, nachos, burritos, and even ribs!
- The Vegan Pyramid is a established Glastonbury cafe that offers a great mix of healthy plant-based vegan food, and some vegan junk food. Think: vish & chips, veganoumi (vegan halloumi), kebabs, falafel, and southern fried chikun!
- Dippy Dogs is the little sister of Dosa Deli, branching out into the vegan corn dogs market. Do we need to say more?
- Last, but not least, there will be Veggies Catering Campaign who have been promoting vegan catering and supporting campaigns for human and animal rights, environmental protection and social justice since 1984! They’re a true Glastonbury Festival gem, having received the Greenpeace Award as ‘Favorite Caterer in the Green Fields’, at Glastonbury Festival amongst many other endorsements. All products are made from natural ingredients, with no artificially added preservatives, flavourings or colourings, with an aim to provide a balance between organically grown and/or locally produced ingredients.
