TGI Fridays Welcomes New Plant-Based Burger from Future Farm to its Menu
High street restaurant chain TGI Fridays have just announced a partnership with Future Farm – the plant-based meat substitute brand – and their Future Burger. From the 6th of June, customers can indulge in the Fridays Vegan Burger, a tantalising vegan burger featuring the Future Burger patty, complemented by a grilled flat cap mushroom and Applewood cheese, served on a bed of crisp lettuce, mayo, tomato and pickled red onions, with garlic aioli dip on the side.
The Future Burger is made from soy, pea and chickpea proteins, and, like all of Future Farm’s products, uses innovative True Texture Technology™ to replicate meat textures. The team behind Future Farm has always been committed to quality, and the Future Burger is no exception. The burger’s high protein content and absence of GMOs and artificial flavourings make it a great alternative to conventional meat burgers and other meat-free alternatives on the market. Furthermore, Future Farm takes pride in producing the Future Burger as a 100% carbon-neutral product, contributing to a more sustainable food ecosystem.
John Gibby, Head of Sales UK, at Future Farm, comments: “We are thrilled to have the Future Burger on the menu at TGI Fridays UK. Partnering with a big-name, nationally-loved, restaurant chain like TGI Fridays allows us to bring our innovative vegan burger to even more people, and we’re excited to contribute to their mouth-watering menu. Together, we’re making it easier for individuals to make conscious, planet-friendly choices without compromising on taste. It’s a win-win for both flavour enthusiasts and the environment.”
TGI Fridays, known for its enticing American-style menu, recognises the importance of offering quality plant-based options to its customers. The addition of the Future Burger aligns with their commitment to providing a wide range of culinary choices that cater to varying preferences and dietary needs.
The Fridays Vegan Burger will be available at all TGI Fridays UK locations nationwide starting from June 6th 2023.
