Shrimply the Best: HAPPIEE!™ Launches it’s Plant-Based Seafood in the UK
Plant-based seafood and meat alternative producer, HAPPIEE!™, is set to make waves with the launch of its shrimply delicious new range of seafood alternatives. Said to deliver the same taste and texture as real seafood, HAPPIEE!™ is bringing a much-needed affordable and sustainable choice to UK consumers.
A sustainable choice for everyone
HAPPIEE!™’s signature seafood line, “Shrimpee“, “Squidee”, and “Calamariee” – tasty plant-based prawn and squid alternatives, have just launched across Ocado online and will be available in Tesco stores nationwide soon.
HAPPIEE!™ prides itself to be the first brand innovating these products with a genuine likeness to real seafood. Consumers can choose between plain and breaded options, which can be conveniently added to dishes like stir-fries, curries, ramen, paellas, and pasta. The aim is to make versatility key, with quick and easy-to-cook products that absorb flavours well during pan or air frying.
Seafood – the ethical way
Responding to growing consumer demand for flexitarian diets, and addressing allergies and environmental concerns, HAPPIEE!™ aims to create easy and adaptable family-friendly options. Products are carrying the Vegetarian Society stamp of approval and they’re suitable for vegans too.
The Singapore-based brand hopes to inspire consumers to get on board with seafood alternatives and make conscious, sustainable choices. Through this commitment, HAPPIEE!™ aims to contribute to the protection of our oceans, alleviating pressures from over-fishing and reducing by-catches to support a healthier marine ecosystem for future generations.
