1. Cookie Dough Protein Bites
These moreish little bites make for the perfect protein-packed snack for you to take to an upcoming festival. With a five minute prep time, you won’t need to spend hours slaving away in the kitchen. Our Cookie Dough Protein Bites recipe can be found in the new Viva! cookbook, Everyone Can Cook Vegan.
2. Vegan Beer
Did you know that some beer can be non-vegan due to the products used in the filtration process, such as isinglass (fish bladders), gelatine and casein? Crazy, right! So which beers are vegan? In terms of lager, popular brands such as Budweiser and Red Stripe are completely vegan, whilst in terms of IPA, Beavertown Neck Oil IPA and Brewdog Punk IPA are made without any animal products.
3. Barry M Biodegradable Body Glitter
Festivals are a time to embrace creativity, self-expression and a little bit of sparkle. 6. Simple Cleansing Biodegradable Wipes
There often isn’t the time (or effort) to do a 10-step skincare routine when you’re camping in a muddy field, so the next best thing is a good old-fashioned wipe. Simple’s Cleansing Biodegradable Wipes contain no colour, no perfumes, no harsh chemicals and best of all, are PETA-approved vegan and cruelty-free.
7. Vegan Bum Bag
Keeping your items safe during a bustling festival can seem like a bit of a chore, hence why a bum bag is such a must. If you’re in the market for something stylish and ethical, vegan and cruelty-free brand Matt & Nat has got you covered. With a range of cool and comfy leather-look bum bags, some of which are made from recycled water bottles, there’s no excuse for misplacing your phone at 2am!
8. Plastic Free Loo Roll
Festivals and loo roll are a bit of an oxymoron, so it’s better to err on the side of caution and bring some of your own. Sustainable toilet paper company Who Gives A Crap has created a loo roll that’s vegan, cruelty-free and plastic-free. Their packaging is also vegan and uses soy-based inks for wrappers and cartons.
