A week of cookery demos
It's a busy week here at the Vegetarian Recipe Club. Jane Easton and I are doing 7 cookery demos between us as part of the Bristol VegFest and Fringe Week.
The fun began yesterday at Cafe Kino, a vegan cafe in Stokes Croft, near Viva! HQ. I cooked Dairy Free Delights, including Scrambled Tofu, Vegan Quiche, Chocolate Mousse and Pancakes, followed by Vegan Favourites, Spag Bol, Bean Burgers and Macaroni 'Cheese'.
Tonight (Thursday) we are taking part in a 'Ready Steady Cook' event - cooking against some omi chefts who will be making meat-free dishes for the first time.
Jane's back at Cafe Kino on Thursday for an afternoon of cooking and film showing - while I get ready for two demos at the main VegFest event at Bristol Harbourside on Saturday and Sunday.
